Journal History

• Jurnal Aplikasi Statistika & Komputasi Statistik (ASKS) is a scientific journal published by Politeknik Statistika STIS. It was first issued in print in 2009 and is published biannually in June and December.
• ASKS Journal is registered with ISSN 2086-4132 (Print).
• In 2020, the journal began publishing an online version and obtained ISSN 2615-1367 (Online) to comply with regulations requiring scientific journals to be accessible and searchable online.
• Based on the Decree No. 747 / Akred / P2MI-LIPI / 04/2016 issued by the Head of the Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI), ASKS was accredited from April 2016 to April 2019.
• Based on the Decree of the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia No. 9 of 2018, ASKS was accredited Sinta 2 by the Ministry of Research and Technology/National Research and Innovation Agency. (Link SK)
• Since October 2023, the OJS platform of ASKS Journal has been upgraded from OJS 3.0 to OJS 3.3.
• Based on the Decree of the Director-General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology, Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology No. 72/E/KPT/2024, ASKS was accredited Sinta 4. (Link SK)
• Starting from Volume 16 Issue 1 (2024), articles are published in English as the main language, with updated author guidelines and a revised manuscript template changed from a two-column to a one-column format to improve layout flexibility for figures and tables.
• Based on the Decree of the Director of Research and Community Service, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, Directorate General of Research and Development No. 0110/C3/DT.05.00/2026 (Link), ASKS was reaccredited with an improved ranking from Sinta 4 to Sinta 2 , effective from Volume 17 Issue 1 (2025) to Volume 21 Issue 2 (2029).
