The Journal of Statistical Applications and Computational Statistics (ASKS) is the only scientific journal published by UPPM-STIS. This journal was first published in 2009. The publication schedule is 2 (two) times a year, in June and December.  ASKS Journal has been accredited since May 31, 2016. This is in line with the LIPI No.747 / Akred / P2MI-LIPI / 04/2016. The accreditation of this journal adds quality media that can disseminate research articles not only in the STIS-BPS environment, but also within the scope of education and research in Indonesia . Thus, the journal ASKS is expected to attract other researchers to make it as a source of reference and as a medium to disseminate research so that the quality of ASKS journal increased from year to year.

Reaccreditation Result of Jurnal Aplikasi Statistika & Komputasi Statistik (ASKS)

Based on the official letter issued by the Director of Research and Community Service, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, Directorate General of Research and Development, Number 0110/C3/DT.05.00/2026, the Journal of Statistical Applications & Computational Statistics (ASKS) has successfully achieved an upgrade in its accreditation ranking from Rank 4 to Rank 2 in the latest reaccreditation process.

This accreditation status is valid from Volume 17 Issue 1 (2025) to Volume 21 Issue 2 (2029).

This issue comprises eight articles authored by researchers affiliated with a diverse range of academic, government, and research institutions across Indonesia and the United Kingdom, including national statistical offices, universities, polytechnic institutions, and higher education centers located in Jakarta, Bekasi, Jambi, Padang, Surabaya, Kupang, Samarinda, Bali, Banjarbaru, and Leeds. The articles cover a broad spectrum of methodological and applied topics in statistics, data science, economics, and spatial analysis, including the role of financial literacy in shaping interest in sharia investment using SEM-PLS, village development status classification through ensemble learning and SMOTE-based class balancing, topic modeling and sentiment analysis of Indonesian tourism feedback, determinants of waste generation in East Java, sparse principal component analysis for identifying socioeconomic drivers of deforestation, geographically weighted regression for examining local variations in food security across Kalimantan, geographically weighted generalized Poisson regression for modeling crime factors in North Sumatra, and ensemble boosting approaches for forecasting rice prices in Indonesia.
